Admission will be via audition process. Applicants need to submit:

  • A bio detailing their previous experience in musical theatre and their ambitions as a writer

    and

  • Two songs (maximum 4 minutes each song) 

and/or

  • Two short writing samples (maximum 8 pages each)

COST: $950 (or $800 for under 30’s)

ATYP will award 3 bursary spots for free tuition for artists under 26 or in the first five years of their professional practice. Writers in their early and mid careers are encouraged to apply, with places awarded based on the quality of writing samples.
